OPTOMETRISTS PRACTICE
WATERLOOF, PRETORIA-EAST
PERMANENT POSITION TO START OCTOBER 2022
THE CANDIDATE MUST BE AGED BETWEEN 23 AND 30 YEARS, BILINGUAL AS WELL AS A NON-SMOKER.
HOURS: MONDAY – FRIDAY 09H00 – 17H00
2 OR 3 SATURDAYS PER MONTH 09H00 – 12H00

SALARY: R 9 000 PER MONTH (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
PROBATION PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in the optical industry
Highly motivated a driven individual
Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
Attention to detail
Good time management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
Positive attitude, energetic
People’s person – extrovert
Well groomed
Bilingual
Own transport

DUTIES:

Answer telephones
Online diary to schedule appointments
Follow up on missed appointments
Confirm appointments for the next day via whatsapp and sms
Receive patients and confirm their details
Receive and assist walk in patients
Draw patient files for the next day and prepare them
Phone medical aids and confirm benefits
Receive payment cash/ credit card
Assist patients when choosing and collecting their specs or contact lenses
Take down orders for contact lenses
General spectacle repairs and adjustments
Receive courier deliveries
Assist with monthly stock take
Ad hoc duties
